Ari
Lieberman graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Media
Arts Department at the University of Arizona. While at the University,
Ari wrote and directed three short films in conjunction with
Upstairs Film: The Edge of Evening, Habitual and Open
‘til 3. One of the founding members of
Upstairs Entertainment, Ari’s credits with Upstairs Theatre
Company range from playing the part of Bernie and several voices
in Talk Radio, to stage managing Angel City and subUrbia . Ari’s other duties with the company
have also included producer, fund-raising director, house manager,
box office manager and general manager for the company. In addition
to short films, Ari and Upstairs Film have also co-produced
a documentary with Amnesty International entitled The Displaced directed by Stephanie Lucas. Currently, Ari is writing and living
in Tucson, AZ with his beautiful wife Chrissy.
